Held an IRC post-doctoral fellowship, working on the early modern developments in Irish warfare and completing his monograph – The Nine Years War, 1593-1603: O’Neill, Mountjoy and the Military Revolution in Ireland for Four Courts Press.
Held Marie Curie Outgoing Fellow at Concordia Montreal and University College. She researched the Old English in the Nine Years War (1593-1603) whilst completing her monograph on the subject. Currently lecturing at Liverpool Hope University.
